I need advice for a Black Metal guitar

Re: I need advice for a Black Metal guitar

LOL, it's meant to play Black Metal, or if you prefer "chord tromolo picking for hours" ^^. I'd prefer a black or white guitar, or a dark colour, but nothing flashy. Not for Black Metal.

Mais oui. Je comprend. Tres bien. Bon chance avec ceci.

Oh pardon me.

I do know Jon Notveidt used Les Pauls constantly though. :)

Re: I need advice for a Black Metal guitar

How can you say you want a superStrat when you want a fixed bridge and a flat neck. SuperStrats don't have either of those.

I was looking for a bottom dollar guitar once a while ago, and played one of these RG321MH: http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/...512492&src=3WFRWXX&ZYXSEM=0&CAWELAID=26042121 it had the best feel of any cheap guitar I've ever played. I wasn't playing it plugged into anything but I'm sure the pickups are junk. They feel great, don't seem too cheaply made, nice jumbo frets, and a anorexic flat neck. Looks classy, too. Nothing Krafty despite it's cheese-ball price tag.

Re: I need advice for a Black Metal guitar

a strat can also be useful... but I'm more concerned you get the make-up right

Can't help it but I find the above pic funny to look at, and it's not because of the make-up or outfit, but because of the weird (at least imo) combo! :naughty:

Must have been a switch-up at the airport with guitar cases... I can't help thinking that somewhere in a smokey club, a bluesrocking dude dressed like Johny Winter was pretty surprised when he opened his guitar case for the soundcheck and found an EMG-equipped (hell we're on the Duncan forum, so make it a Blackout set ;-) BC Rich Warlock to bring his mojo on for the oncomming show... :lmao: (too much imagination, I know ;-)

Not that a H-H equipped Strat could not do the trick soundwise, it just looks total wrong to me :eyecrazy:, fact that it's vintage white probably does not help it either, and I am not sure if I can tell for sure, but I think the guitar tech should have at least gotten non-covered buckers, but he must have probably been thinking about the vintage vibe of the instrument :)

Making holes on the body to put the nails of your wristband in, would help for the stability of right hand picking I guess.
