Check out some Peavey TNT combos. You can probably find one Used for fairly cheap. My brother has one and it's a little power house. He even gigged with it a time or two.

yeah anything old and Peavey gets good enough tone and is fairly cheap. I had a 1x15 peavey that did the trick and then some.

+1 for Peavey. big bang for your buck, reliable, good sound, and they're pretty much available at every used music store.
