When I was living in Salt Lake City a friend of mine left his Double Muff at my house for more than a year. It worked its way into being my 'main' dirt box...it's just so fat and creamy! But it only had two knobs and wasn't very 'diverse'...
So I just wanna know what you guys use for fat, thick fuzz tones. I'm looking for something decidedly MUFF-y, and have actually been talkin to a forum bro about buying his Metal Muff, but I'm afraid it'll be more 'distortion' and not so much that thick muff fuzz.
So what's the verdict? Does the Metal Muff pull off Big Muff tones with more tone-shaping options due to the 3-band EQ? What about the Russian Muff vs. the American one? Then there's the English Muff'n with EL34's to consider...
So yeah, let's talk fuzz.
