alright, bash me thrash me, im a noob to this fourm, but hell, i need some help wiring this puppy in.

of course its going into my tele, three way stwich, one vol, one tone.

i soldered the white red and black into the swtich, and grounded the green and bare wire on the bottom of the vol. pot where everything else was grounded, and it doesnt work.

any suggestions?

i want to keep it simple (the switch, no pashing or spilt or ****.)

thanks

Jeremy to the rescue AGAIN! (Hm, seems that when I first joined here, he was one of the first responders to MY HR/CR wiring questions).

welcome to the forum!!

the red and white should be connected to each other and insulated so as to not touch anything else, not attached to the switch.

like this:

I had a similar problem solved by improving the insulation of the white and red. What I did was give them both very short leads (compared to the rest of the wires) then strip only a tiny amount of the sheilding off, then solder the two together then bend them both back on to the main wire and wrapped them with electrical tape. The result was that it looked like they were never even there.
