I need more GAS

I've been GASing for an Explorer for years, and I'm starting to seriously consider getting one.
Any Explorer (Gibson or not I don't care) owners?
Post some pics, any color, any brand, yours or not I just want to suffer with GAS for the next hours :approve:

It's great guitar, very comfortable to play and well balanced! Looks like it would go with your user name too! Lol

d1dsj wow I didn't know they made those, altough I would prefer a natural finish, mini humbuckers in alder are AWESOME, it must have a beautiful tone. LOL@color and username combo. And you're right they are balanced and conortable guitars, I wasn't expecting that at all.

C'mon Cream that's not nice, I'm trying to GAS for one thing at a time LOL, I feel a guitar testing trip coming soon...

JOLLY you read my mind bro, I was thinking about a natural finish and sticking some phat cats in it, how do they sound together? They look great.

KeeperOS aren't those RAN guitars? I friend of mine got a custom one, altough he didn't go for an explorer shape, but they are awesome, great construction and feel, I would go for one if I had that kind of money to spend. And the black and yellow one is awesome it just needs more knobs.

Yeah, they are, I was at their site asking for a quote for a Cruiser and was looking at their gallery for colors so.

BTW, 100% agree, it does need at least one more if not two knobs and PASSIVES!!! (never was an EMG fan in the least...)

Re: I need more GAS

i like that body shape.... i have an early 2000's Epi Explorer that has had a nasty neck break... I bought it cheap broken, brought it home in pieces... it's been repaired by me.... i'd play it more often but there is an odd issue with the low E string... the other 5 strings sound alive while the low E is dead.... can't figure that one out but it's not that bad....

new, i bet that broken Explorer was a hell of a good sounding neck and body for a cheapie... i've been wanting to pick up a real Gibson one for years.... i also had plans at one point to build a 25 1/2 scale one with a Floyd from Warmoth parts
