Hi everyone,

I need replacement polepieces for a DiMarzio Evolution. (DiMarzio doesn't sell them.) Any idea where I can get some?

Thanks!

Johnny

They are a standard part. Many hardware stores will have them or you can try the web. I have heard stories of Dimarzio sending them out or selling them. If you haven't called them it could be worth a try.

Re: I need replacement DiMarzio polepieces!

I have bought poles direct from DiMarzio before, and they were $10.

Has something changed?

So have I. Purchased chrome poles for a PAF Pro.

Can you replace the hex screws with regular screw poles?

Re: I need replacement DiMarzio polepieces!

I think Dimarzio uses 2 kinds
The socket set screws that screws into a slug coil ,Like a Super Distortion
I believe they are metric 5M X 14M
& the screws like in a PAF PRO screw into a screw side bobbin
Dennis carries these

Zombie resurrection... I notice Dennis doesn't carry the hex poles anymore.

Anyone else have a source? I see the auction listed them as M3x20

Dimarzio used to sell them. I have a couple extra sets of poles for my dimarzios so I can change them from black to silver. Most neck pickups have silver poles so I got a set of silvers for the evo bridge. Also got poles to change color of a Fred.

Just realized this was a necro. I think you will have to search McMaster Carr website.

Length is not important for the fit, if there are holes in the backplate. Like the alloy the lenght is more tonal detail question.

That makes sense. I just wonder if there would be a diameter issue with it not being entirely threaded. I assume that the unthreaded part would be either the same diameter or a bit narrower and not 'thicker' than the threaded portion? If that makes sense...
