I NEED SERIOUS HELP!

In my ibanez, I have a Duncan distortion, which I installed myself. Now, I will be the first to say that I am not exactly good at soldering. I had some problems at first, I would have to knock on the guitar to get the proper signal. Now, its worse. I have signal, but not much of it. To get the full sound, I have to touch the screws that connect the pickup to the ring. I can't take it to a repair shop.

It's a ground issue, I'm almost positive. Go recheck the solder connections to ground for a cold joint. I had a similar problem when I installed a '59/custom hybrid in my guitar.

Yeah, I was pretty sure it was the ground too, because it only got worse after I messed with the ground wires. Thanks.
