I need serious wiring help.

I've got two Jackson Dinkys. They're both 2 humbucker, 1 vol, 1 tone, 3-way switch setups. The only experience I have with changing guitar pickups/electronics is that I switched the bridge humbucker in the older Jackson. In the new one though, I'm planning on replacing both humbuckers and installing a 5-way switch.

I didn't read up as much as I should have before I ordered everything and only got a 2 pole 5-way switch. I probably should have gotten a 4 pole switch but I didn't and this is what I have to work with.

The first problem is that I ordered one of the import type 5-way switches like the picture below and I have absolutely no idea how the lugs on it correspond to the diagram here on the site.

Here's my switch:

Here's the switch in the wiring diagaram:

How do these relate to each other? I'm completely lost. Why does it look like theres some kind of resistor in the pic of the switch from the wiring diagram? What's that for?

Secondly, here's a pic of the whole Wiring diagram:

Is this the ONLY option I have for coil splitting with the 2-pole 5-way switch I bought? If not, what's the other options that include coil splitting and do you know where I can find diagrams?

In the diagram above, it says that the positions perform as follows:

1 - Bridge
2 - Neck & Bridge
3 - Neck
4 - Bridge with Neck Split
5 - Bridge Split

Am I right to assume that this means in position 4 both coils of the bridge are as well as on coil in the neck pickup? This also means that in position 5, only one coil in the bridge is on right? If I'm right so far, this means that in position 4 and 5 I'd get hum since in 4 the neck is acting as a single coil and in 5 the bridge is acting as a single coil.

So to sum it up, how do the lugs in the wiring diagram switch relate to the switch I have? Are there other options for my switch that include coil splitting besides what's shown in the diagram above? And finally, am I correct in my interpretation of what the above diagram will allow me to do?

Thanks in advance.
