I Need The Best Of It All!!!

i need 2 humbuckers that, when used together, have really nice, chunky lows, lots of mids, and awesome highs, i want the pickups to be dark sounding in nature and would prefer if the bridge sounded decent alone also. i was thinkin an invader for the bridge, but what for teh neck then? thanks

well, what styles of music are u playing?
Ive heard the invader is real nice for thrash etc, it all depends on what ur looking for

ALSO NOTE: wood type counts a lot

usually hard rock with soloing stuff, the body wood is mahogany.

APH II is an awsome, warm, smooth pickup set that just rocks. Slash tone thru a Marshall, but will give you so much more. It's a well balanced pup, I wouldn't say mid heavy, but just the right amount.

If you want dark try a Invader bridge, Full Shred neck.

APH II is an awsome, warm, smooth pickup set that just rocks. Slash tone thru a Marshall, but will give you so much more. It's a well balanced pup, I wouldn't say mid heavy, but just the right amount.

Jeff, what is the APH II?? The Alnico II Pro is the APH I.....is that what you meant?

Yeah...that's the one. I just rarely call pups by their model number. I tried several different combo's in my Hardtail before settling on this set. The only other pups I want to try in it are the Seth Bridge, 59' set and Antiquity set. The APH II is the smoothest, warmest set of what I've tried...followed closely by the Seth neck. I really love this set of pickups.
