OK, at this point, it looks like i am going for the Edana (JTM45 clone), but with 6L6 bottles, for that truely Hot-Rodded Bassman feel !


What do you guys think about it ?

Go for the KT-66's. I went there initially and never looked back. They are sooooo much better than any 6L6. Much sweeter mids and a low end as thick and beefy as any 6l6 could ever have if not more. An Edana running anything else is just a crime IMHO.

I either jump channels or use a Trimode pedal to boost (Rather than jump) between channels.

This amp is LOUD!

Good point, you could jump the channels and put a reverb pedal or fuzz in between. Hmm... I need to try that sometime.
