I need tubes

Im about to retube my Twin Reverb again...I have a few ideas but what do yo guys think? If it was your Twin what would you use?

I'd give Bob at EuroTubes a call....

The dude has always hooked me up with great product. His tubes do as he says they will and he's knowledgable amps.

well, after Scott's post, I might be prone to try the TAD short bottles, available from Mojo for $32 a pair, or available from Lord Valve as SHUGUANG "SHORTBOTTLE" BLACKPLATE 6L6WGC @ $35 a pair

after that, the choices would be the SEDs (FORMERLY "SVETLANA" - I know, it's confusing!), the JJs, which are pretty stout, and IMO bias a little differently, or the "new" Svets

for preamp tubes, I'd try a GT 12AX7M in V1, or the Sovtek LPS or Chinese "C-9"

Thanks bro, I had already thought about those power tubes...

I have run out of NOS options from my dad, and these tubes are pretty bad right now. I just wanna keep this thing clean and sounding as good as possible

I'm a JJ fan myself. That said if you wanted to take it to the shop you could re-bias it to run KT66. They are supposed to be very stout and thick with minimal breakup (I've been told) I'd either go with the JJ's for the preamp or maybe EH. I know JJ has a long plate 12ax7 coming out soon. Maybe try those?
