I need wiring help; Installing Invaders on a Epiphone GT with Kill Switch

Hi,

This is the first time I've ever attempted to replace pickups and of course, it can't be straight forward. I have an Epiphone GT that has crappy humbuckers, so I decided to replace them with a pair of Invaders. There is a volume control for each pickup and a three way toggle tone switch (Rhythm-Both-Treble). The bridge volume control has a kill switch in it. Hopefully the pictures below are helpful. The black wire at the top in the image is the neck pickup and the red wire is the bridge pickup. They both connect through the toggle switch; I don't see any direct connections to either of the volume pots. It looks to me like the power (Black) for both pickups is twisted and soldered together and connected on the left side of the toggle switch. The white wires (Ground?) from each connect to their own connection on the right side of the toggle.

As such, I'm not sure which wires need to go where on my new pickups. I assume the black power will go the right connection on the toggle, but I haven't any idea where the other wires should connect. So, any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Ken

Ok So looks like all you need to do is deal with the connections on the toggle switch. Everything you said makes sense but the 1 thing you got mixed up is the lug on the left of the toggle is ground. And the lug on the upper right is hot neck and the lug on the lower right is the hot bridge. Check the diagram. So for your duncans: solder together the red and white wires, tape them off, and don't connect them to anything. Solder the green and bare wires to the single lug on the left side of the toggle. (If it's easier you can ground the green and bare wires to the back of a pot instead.) Finally solder the black wires to the lugs on the right side of the toggle, neck to the top and bridge to the bottom.
