Hi all! I decided picked up a Seymour Duncan Liborater 500K pot and have a question.... The wiring diagrams on the seymour site show a wire that reads "ground from bridge". What is this? I am trying to wire up a lone humbucker to the liberator. The body i am putting them in had no electronics in it before.
Please help!

Re: I need wiring help!!

Post the Diagram. Just what it says. Ground wire from bridge. All bridges are grounded.

Actually I've got a Epi SG Jr that didn't have one so I put a wire under the bassE at the back of the bridge & solder it to the base of the bridge P-90. Killed the junk Hum sound....

Re: I need wiring help!!

I should have also mentioned that the bridge is a floyd rose....not sure where to run the ground...:banghead:

Re: I need wiring help!!

Take a volt meter set at ohms and check continuity to ground

I've got two Floyd Rose bridge guitar. I'll look at them & get back as to where they're grounded.....

Re: I need wiring help!!

Each electric guitar has a ground wire to ground the strings via the bridge and electronics. Thats the wire that the liberator needs. It is synchronous with the wire on the back of the pot.
