I need your help to make 'em hum cancelling!!

Re: I need your help to make 'em hum cancelling!!

No problem.

Don't psyche yourself out over this. If you're competent at soldering and there is enough lead length available, then this should be fairly simple. Looking at any wiring diagram that isn't for your specific guitar as it is currently wired is likely only going to confuse matters.

Sorry for taking some time, but work si sucking the life out of me :grumble:

So, here we go..

It seems to me that black (hot) is going from the PUPs to the selector switch. Green is grounded to the push-pull. Does it sound correct?

Thanks!

Re: I need your help to make 'em hum cancelling!!

Right, so the pickups are currently configured using standard Seymour Duncan humbucker wiring:
Black: Hot to blade switch
Red/White: Split to push/pull
Green/Bare: Ground

You need to disconnect one pickup and re-wire it as follows:
White: Hot to blade switch
Green/Black: Split to push/pull
Red/Bare: Ground

And you'll also need to flip the magnet in one of the pickups.

Thanks for your time Gregory, I will try one of these days to do the job. Regards!
