Ever see Yngwie live? This guy is no faster than Yngwie. I'd like to think Yngwie is a little less wanky than this guy though. That was insanely boring.

I respect the amount of work it takes to get to this point, and I wish I had HALF of the control it takes, but the style just isn't my bag.

I don't see any pwnage. That was fairly mild. Yngwie still smokes that guy...and dare I say is more musical?. And I'm no Yngwie fan. :boggled:

Sounded like three different licks and he just alternated between the three. That said, that playing was hella impressive... but no feeling or emotion, kinda just speed. But DAYUM if I could be half as good...

While I'm impressed with the pure calisthenics of this guy, musically speaking I'd rather listen to a slower, more heartfelt player with some more musical phrasing like the Gilmours and Claptons that are out there.

Alright, I've just got to say for the record :D

Scalloped fretboards don't "allow" you to play any faster or press down any lighter, they simply force you to :D You can play the exact same way on a normal fretboard, with enough skill ;)

Its impressive if your WATCHING it, but if you just listen......well you can't do that...its unlistenable.

But Bravo for that guy!
Being able to......Uhm.......Suck his own C**k Like that and all. thats Quite the accomplishment. I wish I was that flexable.

wow, thats crazy accurate. i will always appreciate something like that done cleanly. Serious economy of motion. Musically, I couldn't take it for long- each arp sounded like the previous one in another position. When it goes by so fast that you cant tell if it is minor or diminished, it seems the player's intent is lost.
Funny, after serious shredding, his first big bend is way out of tune. But man, what cool hair he has.

I get a lot more enjoyment from a good four-chord riff than i do a 8,000 note solo. If all you want to do is be the fastest at wiggling your fingers there are plenty of video games for you................leave music to the musicians pleeeease.

I was able to watch this clip for about 5 seconds before I had to turn it off.

Sure, there's some merit in having that much discipline to get to that high a level, but he's no more a musician in my eyes than someone that doesn't play 8000 notes a second :D

If you wanna wank, use that thing in your pants, NOT your guitar :D

Thats the smoothest finger work I've ever seen... Its a blur. And hes surgicaly accurate.
