Empathy 666 and Fear, Fury and Frustration. Both songs that I've posted before, but they both sound much better now.

I had recorded both of these a while ago, but never got around to posting them cause they're not "perfect". I put em up cause the band's getting back together and we're looking for a bassist, so we needed some solid material on the myspace.

Listening to Empathy 666 - like it a lot, apart from the name. The 666 thing is overdone in metal now, I just think that title is awful. But I like the sound quality and the playing. It's not what I'd normally listen to but I dig it.
Fear Fury and Frustration - sounds like nu-metal, Papa Roach or something. Again, the sound and playing is good, but it really is not my type of metal.
The Nescient - that's more my style! Some nice riffage there although obviously worse sound quality than the others. But good stuff I'm into this song, if Metallica had used this for their new song people wouldn't be flaming them so much!
Autumndreams is another one I hate the title of. The title made me think of Opeth, and so does the acoustic intro. But the heavy bit after the acoustic again has me thinking of nu-metal - I can just imagine it going into a soft bit with Chester Bennington or whoever he is whining over it.


So - not really my type of metal, but I like the tones, playing and general ideas.You guys have a LOT going for you! I can imagine if you found a really good, charismatic singer and added vocals to these songs you might just make a lot of cash!

empathy 666 is a working title, It's gonna get changed once the lyrics are all done .

The Nescient is actually an 8 minute long prog song, it goes off into other cool **** after that intro. Very opethy .

As for Autumndreams, I wrote that one when I was 16 or so. The lyrics explain the name, once I get those recorded. There will be no whining, only contemplation .

I am the good(ish), charismatic(joke) singer. I'll be recording my vox on them soon enough.
