Congrats dude, that looks like an extremely fun ride. The more you talk about them the more I'm convinced that one is in my future. Perhaps not my next amp, as I really want a Vox to complete the F/M/V trifecta, but you never know, GAS is a tricky thing. I'd love a Dwauvernaut, but I'm a big amp man at heart. Plus it would be really cool to see what Niall could do with two channels. I'm thinking something in the 50W area, though perhaps I could be convinced to do 100W, with a Hiwatt/Fender/Matamp orgy of a clean channel and a suped-up Plexi/Model T dirty channel.

HF drive is really cool. Its like a prescence knob that adds gain across your high frequency spectrum. I had the amp sounding about 90% univox super fuzz just by fiddling with it.

He should pack that on a tramp steamer and ride it around S. Africa and come to the west coast to play it for us.

Then take it back home on another tramp steamer.

He does 2 channel dwarvenauts. Go to hovercraftamps. Hes got a dwarvenaut builder order form and everything. I know hes got a Sunn and a couple brit options.

Yeah I've been doing the research. Would need 50+ watts. I emailed him what I wanted and he got back to me in 5 minutes. Got quoted $850+ shipping.

Just wanted to add how responsive the amp is to dynamics and volume control. We plugged a very low end stock Vox into it that is by far the best it has ever sounded , when I got to my 335 with the Fralin Pure PAFs I could go from clean to full on shred with just the volume knob. Reading an article about how Larry Carlton chooses amps that is the one thing he requires . Can't say enough how much I like this amp and coming from me that is quite the compliment.

I'm working on that. I'm having a slight issue with impedance that I'm trying to work out.

Don't fear, when(if) I eventually get this straight I'll post some crappy phone vids or something.
