That's the good thing about Nial and Hovercraft in general. If you get in the build que, you can tell him what you want. You'll talk about the tones you're after and he goes off to the cave to build it...but it doesn't stop there! The amp he builds is not the final "here you go, man. I did my best" product. He will record clips and troubleshoot with you until it is exactly what you want.

So now that the honeymoon period is over, when should I expect my new amp?

Probably when you contact Nial and get one built.

So far this thing is a beast. It busted the back off of the cheapo cab I was using...what's better than that?

If you're willing to spend a couple hundred more dollars you can get the falcon.

Its got pretty righteous Blackface cleans and a ridiculously tweakable gain channel.

I'm still in love with mine, thinking of purchasing another already for a stereo rig....
