I pulled the trigger on the Op Amp Big Muff reissue

I already own a Green Russian Muff clone. It stacks very well with a Tubescreamer. I just wanted something very different this time around, and maybe, in the future, I'll buy a Triangle Muff reissue. It seems I'm becoming a Muff fan ...

I do love me some muff....and the pedals are great too. Favorite has to be the green Russian. The opamp has an awesome sound. I need another one, I sold mine.

To me, the Op Amp seems to cut like a knife, perhaps more than any other Muff variant?. And the Green Russian sounds huge.

It's still a Muff, but with three op amp gain stages, instead of 4 silicon transistor gain stages like traditional muffs. So it has a sort of chainsaw-like, gnarly, very aggresive tone that sets it apart from the rest. Still a Muff, but easier to distinguish.

The extra features - noise gate, attack control, bass boost, and the mids section - are a lot of fun to play around with.
