Yeah, kinda, the markup on new is too riduculous, especially when you know they're out there. I buy all used gear, with the rare exception. That way, if you take care of it, you can usually sell it for what you paid, or maybe a little more if it appreciates. You don't loose the retail on it. Seems logical to me.

I've got this that I bought off martin6stringscustom, but haven't used it.
I paid $190 inc postage, if you want it I'll take $165.
It has the Saraceno Patb in the bridge and is totally unused.

You'd be surprised how little markup there is on pickups. The PATBn is going to be tricky to find used since its not a popular pickup, but if you do find one, snatch it up. It sounds pretty good.
