My first band - I was the "effects" guy. Played a lot of stuff to fill synth parts, etc…so lots of effects made sense.

But - for example - during Down Boys by Warrant - I only kick in the flange on one arpeggio sequence. The rest of the song is straight guitar.

Same with You Give love a bad name. Only effect either of us use is a I play a wah, and the other guitar kicks in delay for the solo.

It's an awesome board, but I use maybe 10% of its capability.
