But there's a little more love here for the 59 neck (with RCA3 in my case) than the Demon in the neck. The Demon will be perfect just as soon as I lower the bass side just a hair. So many people said so, and I just never listened, but it's phenomenal about an hour into the honeymoon phase. It might be good enough that I start playing on that pickup.

For many years I have been extolling the virtue of the Demon in the neck. It makes for some really great lead tones.

I love the Demon in the neck. I have it oriented the same as the bridge slot.

That’s how I set it up also. The wire was JUST long enough.
