I think I figured out my live rig

That is just the amps. The pedal board is back at the space.

We are borrwing the road crew from the guys we share a space with. They are really good and work cheaply. One guy is a serviceable guitar player and damn good guitar tech for tunings and string changes.

It is for the same blended tone I used on the album. I run the lows/low mids through the Marshall and the high mids/highs through the VOX. It just seems to work for me. I can't capture the thickness and tone using either amp by itself.

Is that a standard AC30? Or is there some wizardry going on with it? Because I wouldn't have thought an AC30 woudl be as high gain as your clip seems to suggest you recquire.

I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-gain stomp. Tons of gain on hand, great EG and the OPEN/TIGHT switch dramatically changes the feel and timber of the pedal.

I never fully open it up but even at modest volumes, yep, it moves some air. I never have to worry about cutting through the mix.

I thought of doing something similar. I have a Tech 21 VOX in a box, I was thinking of getting a MIB running them in parallel and going drict to the board.

That would be a great backup. I have one of the mop top character series pedals and it sounds great driven hard.
