Oh yes. Oh hell yes.

EDIT: I didn't even realise it was a signature model. I did not see that one coming either, but apparently the dude has good taste in guitars.

YUp, neither have i seen this one a-comin' . . . but then again, am NOT a fan of the man's band.

But, i will easily buy this sig Gibbo, IF, i had the funds.

These, and the 335's are Gibsons latest cost saving effort. Note the smaller number of knobs…

Yet notice the price is still ridiculous.

I'll take a sweet 137 in Midnite Blue any day over that.

How many sig models does that make for him now?

Re: I Think I Like This New Gibbo ES-137

No neck binding or body binding, but Gibson will still have a suggested retail price of $3300.... WTF???

Re: I Think I Like This New Gibbo ES-137

I just stopped at GC this afternoon, and I think they may start blowing out the ES-139's for $899.
Either that, or they're getting rid of returned/blem stock. $900 for a new semi hollow Gibson with a gigbag is pretty sweet.
I like it, but I still have my sights on the Elliot Easton Tikibird.

For that money, no.

For $900 retail, maybe. Sure, it's Memphis, but they haven't convinced me they are pulling the ultimate tone woods for this build.

Yup, think I'm with Ace on this one. That said, I'd still be taking a PRS Hollowbody first. I've still got my mate's at my place, though he is coming to collect tomorrow morning... :( It has been played every day I've had it though; can't say that about too many guitars.
