I think I need a new 5-way

Any recommendations? Preferably with an idea of where I can get one in the UK. Also I'd like to try an A5 in my Custom if you know an retailers.

For the 5 way I'd use an Oak Grigsby or CRL.

Personally, I prefer the feel of the selector switches with the spring rather than the wheel/rut machanism.

I grew up with sprung lever selector switches. I like the way that they snap into each position. Anything else feels like a cheap imitation - even if it is actually more expensive. That's just me. You don't have to take any notice.

The CRL 5 way is sprung (traditional style) - the Oak Grigsby is not (hill & valley detent action).

CRL or Oak - both are good switches but at the end of the day it depends on personal choice (as FunkFingers said) and how you like your selector to feel when in use.
