I think I wrote a song....

I was killing a little time today, and I plugged my DD-3 into my Marshall's loop, set the eq/gain etc..., and plugged in my #1 Les Paul and started jamming. The sound was just 'yhere' if you know what I mean. I think I may have came up with a song.

I had an intro

I made a verse

There is a chorus

Might have even worked a bridge!

I may have to record this....

Needs drums and bass. But I might try that with Garage Band.

It just came together so easy! Hope i don't edit the awesome out of it while clipping the awful...

OK - here is the current status

Basic drum track for Intro, verse, pre chorus and chorus down (first passes
Bass for intro, verse and pre chorus down.

I have the guitar part - but still need to get ti into Garage Band, or get the whole thing on YouTube....Play GB, and play along. That will of course mean no solo likely....

Whatever - I'll figure it out. For now I';m focussing on the song. This is coming together pretty easy! Stay tuned!!!

Most of the time when you sing with a good tone and the lyrics are also going well with it you don't have any equipment to record that, it's really irritating and annoying.

No - just drums/bas/rhythm (and maybe a solo if can get the rhythm track down from amp to computer)

Ok - I think have accidentally wrote the riff to my SECOND song! I am album bound baby!!!!!! The music is just flowing out.

I'll wrap the backing track for the first song today. Just need one more little transition...then verse chorus chorus and done!

Ok - made a few tweeks to the solo section. Just chugging in e didn't quite do it. Need to transition back to the verse...drums for that are a b!tch!!!!!

Verse and two chorusses to copy and done!

Then record to YouTube most likely - and it will be posted!!!!!!

I so almost have the second song also. Man - it only took 45 years.

ok - got the final sections in. Now to get my camera guy to set it up to record. Stay tuned. Another day or so!

It's clocking in at 6 minutes. I need some hardsgh editing. But man - I don't even care. I'm feeling pretty good!
