I like 'em on a goldtop, but not much else.

I always kinda liked em myself too. They look good on a black LP Classic especially.

As for other Les Paul inlays, nothing beats the acrylic inlays on my R7 though. They're absolutely beautiful!

Not for me, they look weird.

Yeah I don't care much for it, but to each his own.

I've got 5 Les Paul Classics, and I don't even notice them. They don't bother me at all. I honestly think they photograph that color more than they actually are in person. Even looking at these two different pictures you can tell a color difference.

An LP Standard/Classic/Traditional in piano black is just a thing of beauty. Looks so clean and classic. Best looking black guitar IMO.

MIne are more yellow than green but I really don't mind them. I, like jolly, don't notice them at all...
The pick may be small but you can't really notice them in my avatar (ok, small inlays in the higher frets but...)

You're probably one of the few who does.

Re: I think I'm the only one that likes the snot green inlays on LP Classics!!

i think it adds a sort of mojo to it.

Re: I think I'm the only one that likes the snot green inlays on LP Classics!!

I have a nearly 40 year old LP, and a Nearly 35 year old one. Inlay is as white as white can be. The ONLY Lp's I have actually seen that on is those.

I think they are classic Gibson co FAIL. "Let's age JUST ONE part of the guitar - like this one, that never really changes color..."

they're easy enough to change if you dont like them.

Re: I think I'm the only one that likes the snot green inlays on LP Classics!!

I have nuclear green inlays on my superstrat, but not that kind of green. It's kind of wierd on a Coppertop Les Paul. Not my first choice of inlays.

I've got a 73 and 74, as well, and they are just as bright as the day they were inlaid, from what I can tell. I've got a 93 Classic and as soon as I have a bit of extra $$ to get it refretted, it's getting new inlays, as well.
