I think Sonar and Reason hate each other

In Sonar 4, I've got two audio tracks playing, one midi track triggering one instance of Reason, an indication of 4% CPU usage, and still reason only plays half the notes fed to it by the midi track. It will just skip notes at random, and it's really annoying. Anyone else experienced in using these two software products together? What's going on?

(PS, I knew I should've bought a Mac!)

I use to use Reason rewired to Logic and would just sequence Reasons instruments with the Reason sequencer window and feed just the audio into Logic. It worked but not great. You might try that approach.

Reason works best as a ProTools plug-in, or stand-alone. I've never tried it any other way.

Reason's sequencer is a bit awkward, as I'm used to the Cakewalk format. I can still bounce down to an audio mix after sequencing in Reason, correct?

Thanks for the responses!

I know the sequencer in Reason sucks. You can bounce the Reason parts in Reason as audio and import into Cakewalk.
