I Think The Boss GE-7 Might Be The Marshall Tone Fix For My Vox

I upgraded my Boss GE-7 like I said I was going to..I replaced some caps and installed metal film resistors...My pedal is very quiet...

I ran it through the effects loop's Left send and Left return and I think this should take care of the mids and overall eq problems I've been experiencing..

This would be a fairly cheap and easy solution to a problem that has been bothering me with my amp...I Know what a great Marshall should sound like and I used my ears and dialed in some presets that I feel will cut right and sound good now...

Im telling you, if you keep talking about that Vox head I might have to take the plunge! I really need something with lots of different good tones for my cover/bar band! Im glad you are getting closer to the tones in your head, and Im also glad you have now added the GE-7 to the mod list, now I might have to get another one! BTW..where is the family vacation to? have a good time, and becareful buddy!

I do have alot more control over the models now with the eq...An eq can make things worse if you don't know what frequencies to dial in or out...It's not all about boosting,as decreasing is every bit as important..

Just get one and find out for yourself! You won't regret it!

Best $600 I ever spent...If nothing else, the amp is alot of fun learning on and it sure has an awful lot to offer!
