This really works guys! I noticed the difference right away!
I had the graphtecs on my strat. My lower three strings were getting sorta muffled by the graphtecs... They were lacking that snap and ring. Once I put the metal ones back on - I got that brightness back to the wound.
Then I put those 3 saddles on my tele. And my tele tends to get Ice picky sometimes. This solved the problem. Together with the graphite nut on my tele the treble strings are now round and warm sounding. Some brightness got cut off.
So if you don't mind the look, go for it!!
