Yep. I've got a Mockingbird. I'm not sure what model it is exactly. It's not an American made one, but it's not the cheapest made one either. I bought it off of Ebay a couple of years ago for like $350-$400 or so. I rarely play the guitar, but I really like it alot. I figure I need at least one guitar with a Floyd Rose on it.

I have GAS for a Bich...the NJ Classic's look great, and cost is far under a grand...in fact with a hard case you can gete one new for around $750.00! Jusr play as many as you can...fret work looks to be hit or miss.

That sounds correct. I know mine has the regular ole B.C. Rich headstock and not that ugly pointy one.

I'd reccomend the NJ Classic series. They're neck thru now and have decent electronics in them. Walnut stringer and nice tops. Ebony fret boards. They're really nice. Last years are pretty decent too but they're not neck thru. They are mahogany though.

h8tred beat me to it. the nj classic eagle is potentially my next guitar. either that or a schecter c-1 classic.

Get a Japanese copy of a Mockingbird. They are far better than any bc rich mocking bird Ive played. Agile, or Burny(by Fernandez) makes some good ones. Mine was $800 off of ebay and its really great.

I highly recommend that you try one of these with the strap on it, the one I had was neck heavy, and tended to dive for the floor.

I have a BC Rich mockingbird too, and the balance of it is really bad, with the one I have it's best just to sit down all the time..Seriously.

i had a friend with that problem, the truss rod was adjusted really poorly. its all sorted now though

The best thing for the balance is to move the strap pin to the side parallel with the neck on the front top horn. Makes all the difference in the world.
