I just don't know exactly which ones to put in. I hear really good things about the quality of WGS speakers and kind of know what sound I'm after. I'd like to have that classic warm, big Greenback tone a la EVH, Angus Young, Iommi, Montrose, mainly that notable 70's rock sound. However, I think I'd like to have a couple of speakers that have a good, more modern lead tone like a V30.
Now does the WGS Green Beret have a real good lead tone as well as that great rhythm sound or should I get two Green Beret's and two of the V30 clones (either the Retro 30 or Veteran 30)?
Hope I made myself clear. I've been trying to figure out how to improve my tone for awhile, but I'm just realizing that the speakers play a bigger role in the sound than I thought.
