To all,

sOme of you had purchashed items from me & i said that they would all ship out on friday with tracking #'s to follow.

While putting the final touches on a clients pedal board thursday afternoon i had a freak accident and was rushed to the emergency room.

since then i've been hopped up on codine for a massive skull ache and also have blurry vision thanks to a scratched cornea. i've spent the last few days sleeping and today is the first day that ive' been able to see somewhat clearly and leave a dark room. even now, posting here fukkin hurts but the only reason i'm dogn so is because i have about 20 pm's... probably wondering where thigns are.

for anyone who cares i am expected to make a 100% recovery. i go for a follow up on tuesday and hopfully will be clear to drive and do normal things like cook my own food after that.

in the meantime, nothings shipped and a lot of it still needs to be packed.

sorry for any inconvience but thats why they call them accidents. not much i can do for now so things will ship when they ship.

I'm going to the doc in about an hour... start playing catch up on shipping & handling tonight I think.

My vision is already better then it was... had some vertigo yesterday while trying to watch TV but at least I didn't reach for the codine right when I woke up.

What happened? Great question... lol

Here's what I recall...

That pedalboard has a bunch of "big" pedals... Mutron, Fuzz Probe etc. so I was building a shelf for a back row to elevate those boxes with a set of pass throughs on the bottom for cabling. Shelf is about 6" x 20" x 1.5"

While cutting the channels with a Sawzall... yes... maybe not the "best" tool for the gig but I don't own a table saw and having dabbled in construction for about 15 years, doing several studio builds and kitchen remodels I'm really comfortable with a Sawzall... my favorite saw ever! I've made a lot of "impossible" cuts with one over the years...

Anyway, cutting the channels one piece of wood about 5-6" long broke loose and rather then falling away like the rest of the debris, this one decided it would snap towards my head and made contact with my forehead and safety glasses. The glasses shattered and I think that's what scratched the cornera... rest of the damage was from the piece of wood smashing my temple.

I saw that chunk coming at me too...

I knew I should've practiced that Matrix 'slow-down' thing a little more...

Yeah, I'm sorta lucky I had 'em...

But I wonder if I'd been better off without 'em since the majority of the damage came from the glasses smashing my face.

I guess still, better off with... but ach.
