I wrote a book: first ten years of Orpheo Guitars

In 2013, I made my very first electric guitar from scratch. A les paul, of course.

More than 10 years and 150 guitars later, I compiled every single guitar I have ever made in a complete compendium.

I started this project with my best friend, who quit after 2016, but I continued. Many of my guitars ended here with forum members, and Seymour Duncan has been instrumental in bringing me to where I am now.

The book is for sale, in case someone is interested.

I had no idea that I could even write a book when I started making guitars. I just started 2 months ago, maybe 3, by compiling everything I had made. I wrote a list of what I had made, categorized it by year, and then found photo's to back up what I had made. I lack full construction pics of two of the 150 guitars, and of just a handful I have just partial photo's. The funny thing is that the photos do get more congruent as time goes on. In the end, it's one large photo for the front, one large of the back and sometimes a highlight. It started with just 1 photo but that was too empty in this large format.

I compiled all specs, mostly from memory. Had to look up just a handful of specs.

Wow, that's a lot of work! Congrats on the completion of a giant project (oh yeah, and making 150 guitars, too).
