Ibanez 7 String guitars, help meh!

Hey guys, I think I'd like to get my hands on a seven string Ibanez. What models is Ibanez currently making that are seven string, and what out of production models would you suggest? I know the RG7620 models are great and can be found for cheap prices. Keep in mind I'd like one with a floyd! And do model numbers with four digits mean that the model is a Prestige model?

If it's "RG7xxx" then it's a 7 string from the RG line. In the RG line there's the RG7620 and the RG7420, the RG7420 being less desirable due to the cheaper trem. If there's a "1" at the end of the sequence then it's a hardtail.

I think only recently the upper RG7 line went prestige. Models from the late 90's were standard production.

I played one of those and really didn't like it. It might have been the amp, but it just sounded bad. Like an epiphone before all the upgrades to the electronics. Just really dark and muddy. I'd say it was the pickups since the woods are ok... but they're PAF7s supposedly, just like the ones in my epiphone, and my epiphone sounds great with them.

The RG7321 are very good for the price, as are the low end AX7's, not sure on the actual model number.

Schecter and ESP both make amazing 7 strings, check eBay out.

The stock pups in a Universe are DiMarzio Blaze II's custom designed for the man himself, Steve Vai. They are a bit dark, but they ROCK. The easiest 7 String to play.
