Ibanez 850 vs NYC Big Muff vs Rat

I currently have a Rat pedal. I was seeing what people's opinions are of these pedal. I also have the Bass Big Muff but find I prefer the Rat. How would you compare the Rat to the NYC Big Muff and Ibanez 850. I found with the Muff's the lower gain settings below noon are a bit lacking. I kinda want to get an Ibanez 850 but the last time I tried one was a couple years ago and I didn't get to spend much time on it at the store.

I've never had a Rat (hate the name and will never own one lol), so I can't compare.
Just thought I'd mention the op-amp muff reissue (aka pumpkin muff). It's very very close to the Boss HM-3 in feel and character.
I think both sound better when running a mid-boost or slight compression in front for thickness and definition. (guessing the rat is like that too, a bit scoopy on their own but stacked they make magic!)

850 mini fuzz or OD850?

The Rat has no issues in the mid department. It's not really a scooped pedal. I've played the Pumpkin Muff but I think it's a little too harsh sounding for me.

The Rat is a great pedal to have, pretty versatile. I felt the Big Muff was more one dimensional but that's just me.

And which 850?

I think a good RAT is a desert-island pedal, everyone should have one. You're missing out if you skip on it because you "don't like the name".

I always thought they should spell it with two T’s.
