Ibanez ARZ

The wife and I were tooling around at Guitar Center before the movies yesterday and I picked up an Ibanez ARZ to play with. I was fairly impressed. No idea how the pick ups or electronics sound as I didn't plug it in (irrelevant to me really since I would change them) but the fit, finish and whole feel of the guitar was very nice. It was pretty loud acoustically and set up really well out the gate. The neck felt great and the frets were nice and level. Nothing fretted out now matter how far down the neck I played it, just in general I thought it was a great guitar for $400! At that price and how it played, a very good value. Just thought I'd share!

Yes, those are beautiful. Here is what I look for on an Ibanez:

You cannot go wrong when they build 'em like that. That set neck heel design is wonderful for playability and sustain. Incredible to see construction features like that on sub-$1,000 guitars.
