Ibanez edge tremolo compatibility

if I have an Ibanez body routed for say an Edge Pro, will it will be compatible with say an Edge III?

Yes, I think they would. The architecture is quite similar (if not the same) as are the routes.

There's a big thread on Jemsite discussing the fit of different trems into different cavities.

Don't get an Edge III, its a crappy bridge. Save your money and make sure you get an Edge Pro.

Agreed, the Edge III is horrible, don't even compare it with the Edge Pro. Its not very stable and has very poor sustain, not to mention the whole thing is made of pot metal.
