Ibanez electric/acoustic squeal

Just wondering if anyone has seen this problem before, it's an Ibanez acoustic/electric MSC550TRD1201, it does not play (no sound) but there is a low squeal that gains pitch as it "warms up". I have not opened it up yet so if anyone has any information on this problem I much appreciate the input.

I've had an acoustic that did something similar when you first plugged it in, It got worse as it got close to the time to change the battery. In my case, it was apparently in the preamp design (not a good design, huh?).

Yeah, Im worried it's a "mini circuit board" in there, I have not opened it up yet. Worried it is fried. But I will open it tomorrow.

The guitar doesn't warm up. My guess would be an oscillation in the pre-amp circuit that starts when it gets power (e.g. plugged in). I've had something like that happen with phantom power in mic preamps and it required a filter cap to eliminate the oscillation.

Thank you, it's a start

Sounds like you could be getting capacitance where it doesn't belong. Can you get any photos of the inside of the guitar?
