Ibanez GAXB 150; good/bad?

I'm looking for a backup-bass (read: basher!) for my blue Fender Paisley '54 P-bass and right now I'm considering the (metallic blue) Ibanez GAXB 150, mainly because it's one of the cheapest basses on the market right now, and because I believe Ibanez make great instruments hence the pricetag. Problem is, I haven't even tried it out in a music store, so right now I have two questions:

1. What did you think of this bass?
2. Is the pickup routing compatible with any Basslines-pickups?

welcome to the forum!!

its ok but its a shorter scale bass than standard so it wont have as focused a sound but if you like it, then go for it.

i dont think there is any basslines pup thatll fit in that hole, but i could be wrong

I believe the price is $135 for you guys in the US, but I live in Sweden and here you get to pay up the equivalent of $400 if you're gonna buy the same bass. The prices for music instruments are wicked here, sometimes the price is double the price in the US.
I was considering buying a Gibson Les Paul Faded, which costs like $750 if you buy it at music123.com, but here it costs around $1500... This is why I'm looking for the cheapest bass available :P

I'm gonna save up some money to buy guitars the next time I go to the US.
