Ibanez GSR180 bass

Any thoughts? I'm thinking of picking up a bass and I don't have much money. This is the cheapest one at a pretty good shop in the area.

Don't know about the GSR's but the SR's are a fantastic range of basses. I don't think the SR300 is that much more than the GSR180 and is almost certainly a better instrument... but I could be wrong. At that price mark is usually worth just spending just that little bit more.

part of the SR range. Unfortunately they don't seem to have any 300's but I'll have look in the shop/around town.

Thanks, I wasn't planning on the pink one anyway. Anybody tried one?
