Ibanez guitar value

So I just bought a brand new Ibanez RGIX27FEQM (sapphire) a couple months ago and I was wondering will the value of it go up over the next couple years since it's been discontinued? Or should I sell it now while the price is still up around 600$ used? I love the guitar I just don't need a 7 string, yeah its bad ass but I could use the money towards a nice amp. I only really play in dropped tunings anyways, so I could just use heavier guage strings on one of my 5 other guitars. Also I was wondering how would someone figure out the total production number of a specific model Ibanez? I might just have to contact ibanez but someone in here might know

Value will probably drop slightly over the years, they're not really collector's items.

I've been in the same boat, found a couple nice deals on some decent playing and sounding 7 string guitars, but decided to flip them and just stick to the 6s.

Gotcha, I was thinking since its an iron label guitar that was only produced for 1-2 years it might go up in value. And its very ornate compared to other iron label ibanez guitars (abalone binding, gold hardware ect). I guess I'm gonna be listing it pretty soon lol
