Hi guys, hows it going?!

Im looking for an Ibanez S series, japan made, with HH rouring, no HSH, with 24 frets and 25'5 scale length.

Which models features that configuration??
I already have an RG550 that i swapped out the Hsh pickguard for a HH one. Ahahahaha

Jp
Thanks in advance

You're probably going to have to flex a little on the specs if you want an "S" series.

You can get something like the older S1220 or S1520, which are made in Japan, but only have 22 frets

Or you could opt for a newer model like the S420 or Iron Label SIX6DFM, which have 24 frets, but aren't made in Japan

I can live with the middle pickup, but i need a 24 frets 2,5 scale length because its probably going to be tuned to b standard.

They're all 25.5 scale

For Japanese options, look at the S5470 range and the early EGEN models

How bad(or good) are the newer indonesian or korean madeones are, in comparison to the Japanese ones?

Better looking....but utterly forgetable sound

Also, the original LoPro is an obscenely good trem. Probably the best floyd ever.

You really love Ibbys, that's cool

S5521
S6521
S6621

I don't know where these are made, though. I really really tried to learn Ibanez' model naming scheme (which could reveal it's origin?), but it is beyond my capacity.

S521 and S621 are positively Indonesian because of the price point. But amazing value guitars with just a good setup.

So, taking note of your sig, what is this one getting, pup-wise?

Yeah, based on my last 2 experiences, I too can vouch for import Ibbys having quality above their pricepoints. An AS semi and an SR bass. Sure, cheaper woods and hardware, but pretty much flawless build quality and playability wise.
