Ibanez "Phase Tone"

My dad has one of these lying around, but unfortunately i dont think it works.

Is it worth spending time/money on? could i get anything for it on ebay?
What would i be looking for if i were to try and fix it?

Do they SOUND any good?

Appears that they are worth money....sweeet. now to find out whats wrong with it...
