Ibanez Valbee?

So i'm really tired of my Line 6 Spider II 30W combo for practice and now i want to replace it with something like 5W all tube. The amps that i noticed upto now are the Crate V8(i don't need the price-tag and the effects of a V58),the Dr. Z Mini-Z and the Ibanez Valbee. All are 5W tubes and reviews are good. Since neither the Crate nor the Dr. Z seem to be available here in germany and buying US would include buying an addtional tranformator(additional money i don't really wanna spend) the Valbee is probably the best option. Specs seem cool (12AX7/6L6GC tubes, active EQ and two channels) and the amp itself looks nice but i couldn't test it in a store yet.
So anyone here who has tried one or has other recommendations for small all tube amps? Reviews and/or tips would be greatly appreciated

Re: Ibanez Valbee?

i for one, would be wary of an amp that has a buzzy insect in its name.

i'm probably getting a laney LC15 soon.. i'll be able to tell you more about that..

the V8, 16 and 32 are guitar center exclusive amps FAIK

the Laney LC 15 seems like an option but i'm not sure if i need 15 watt tube power since the amp will be practice only.
I guess you're right about the Crates. beeing GC exclusive would explaine why no one here has them.

Re: Ibanez Valbee?

The Valbee looks pretty cool. I've been snatching up pedals lately but thanks to you've I got a mild form of GAS! Must resist! Must resist!
