Ibanez X series Destroyer

Aceman

I am your doctor of love!
What does the "X series" indicate. Found one of these. It's set neck, has some really goofy looking bridge/tailpiece(fixed), and is Cherry sunburst, in a very unimpressive way. Still...gives me a little GAS

Re: Ibanez X series Destroyer

I think the X series is the current line out, that one you're speaking of might be from a few years back but I doubt earlier than 2000.

On ebay?

That one has been for sale forever.

Basswood body (meh) And according to our resident Destroyer Guru (Jeff Seal), they are less desireable. Much different than the "classic" Destroyer II's. I believe he said they have a straight neck among other things (instead of a Gibson style angled neck). I almost pulled the trigger on that til I saw Jeff's post about them.
