Ladies and gentleman, I give you the world's first IBZ10 head...

It is the first because no one else would even bother building it. This is only the start of it, I will be closing it up so it looks more professional, but I'm not super worried about how it looks, nor do I want to spend a ton of time on it. I mainly built it just to have a little head I can plug in and use with headphones in the bedroom, so I don't have to move my good amp around all the time. I will update this with more pictures if I even bother to finish it.

Re: IBZ10 Head

By the way, I really don't want anyone to get the idea that this is even a REMOTELY serious build. I mainly did it because I was bored and wanted to see how it would work out.

Re: IBZ10 Head

I actually just tried it connected to my 1x12, and it sounded pretty good. Much better than it did with the original speaker. I plan on using it with headphones mostly, but I also will probably use it with a cab occasionally.

Re: IBZ10 Head

How does it sound driving headphones? And which headphones?

Re: IBZ10 Head

I've done this with a few combos, and sold the speakers off. In some cases, the speakers sold for more than I paid for the entire combo. :D

Re: IBZ10 Head

i'm feeling the same for my old Peavey Artist VT combo. IMO the black widow speakers are as muddy as they can be, and i ve had better results skipping the BW and plugging into 4X12 cabs. must make a head out of the combo and sell of the BW speaker if i can.
