I'd refinish it in a solid color and install a humbucker in the bridge.

What does "generation" have to do with anything? I'm 10 years older than you (or more) and I inherited a ton of lego from my uncle who's 10 years older than me. This generation didn't suddenly invent the stuff.

IMO this has nothing to do with generation, it's about nerds. That's a f**king nerds guitar. Who'd play that? Would you see Jeff Hanneman playing that? Or would you see some bespectacled "math-rock" twat playing it?
Lemmy won't be making one any time soon, even though he probably had a Lego set as a kid too!

Re: I'd say this guitar...

It probably sounds like the noise you make when you step on one of those goddamn things

Re: I'd say this guitar...

Well, at least if you busted it on stage, it would be easy to put back together.

Re: I'd say this guitar...

I'm with hermetico. No way. Not a chance. I grew up playing with Legos, and I haven't ruled out getting some to play with, but there's no way I'd own something like that. I mean, c'mon. You like steak. You like cars. Why not drive a car made out of steak?
