I think that may be the ideal live wiring setup for quick dialing. I’m thinking about getting a used Jay Turser mustang and getting the Cool Rails. I currently play with 12 gauge strings with wound third in C# standard but would like a short scale tuned to E standard or Eb with 12 gauge strings. I could ditch the two pickup switches and drill a round hole for the pickup selector blend knob in place of the switch closest to the neck. Maybe go with concentric knobs for spin o split. Maybe master tone in the switch spot above the treble pickup or just not mess with a tone knob and go with a jazz switch, which I prefer anyways.
