Identify this bass!

Untitled49.jpgI was browsing images of a scream queen, who worked mostly before I was born, in various levels of dress and came across this bass, I blackboxed it myself, hope it isn't too much for the forum.

Well, it’s got a mudbucker...?

They are only muddy in the neck position (especially with flatwounds). I put one in a P-bass years ago in the same place Music Man does - sounded killer with roundwound strings. Chunky low mids with no clank, great for rock bassists who use effects. The client was surprised at my suggestion, but loved the result.

Re: Identify this bass!

What the heck is going on at the 6th fret and why isn't there a 7th fret marker?

Looks to me that the picture of the bass was cut out from somewhere and pasted together. I was trying to figure why so jagged around the edges and came to that conclusion..

Re: Identify this bass!

Yup, the one actually holding the bass is Brinke Stevens. The reason the black stuff is so jagged is because I did it on my phone.
